iTunes Volume is a simple application that places a floating volume control on your desktop.

This kind of functionality is very useful when you don't like to open the iTunes window from Dock. It's a floating window with always-on-top behavior.

The floating window gives you the possibility to rate your items, the same way iTunes does. A round button enables this functionality and it changes its color depending on the rating.

There is one more floating window, aside of the volume control that always stays open. This feature behaves like an always-in-background window, which displays information from the ID3 tags. This window supports a higher transparency level than the volume window.

If the media file contains lyrics, then a new well-designed window is opened and displays the text. It has a button that can resize it in an elegant manner, and it can completely fade away when you won't hover over it.

Pluses: it gives you the possibility to manipulate the volume and the rating of your tunes. It displays some information about the song that is playing.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: the program looks good and it gives you fair functionality.
